Allow trainers at JMCC

Our school should have the option of trainers because they are a lot cheaper and more durable compared to schoolshoes. In year 6, my parents ended up paying £60 for a pair of clarkes schoolshoes which I found incredibly uncomfortable. Sometimes, I miss the bus so I have to walk to/from school and I come home to blistered feet but with trainers I can walk in them all day and they are still comfortable. Many other people get this problem too. Also, for the less fortunate pupils, trainers can be used in and out of school as they go with most outfits. I have also found with my newest school shoes, the soles had ripped by spring term whereas my trainers (bought at the same time) looked untouched. Many parents as well as students agree that we should have the option of black trainers aswell as regular school shoes as it gives more of an option of shoes for parents to choose from. Many schools such as Hamilton are already allowed trainers so it's becoming the norm.
