Supreme Court of Canada and Sears Warranties

I worked for Sears Canada selling Major appliances.  When I came to work for Sears I could see many aspects of Liquidation written all throughout the store.  I have seen this many times before, the store was literally falling apart, Corporate Management were given instructions not to invest money into the stores for repairs, upgrades, or programs, the store was being operated on a minimal shoe string budget. Management were always on our backs and upset if we did not sell a warranty with appliances or furniture especially within the last year of business.   It all makes perfect sense that they have declared bankruptcy, it was all in the big scheme of their strategy on closing.  Warranties were sold based on the premise that if you did not use them, you could redeem the amount you paid for them to buy merchandise in the store for the full amount you paid, as long as you spent 2x the amount. Now Sears is not honoring the warranties (that they received hundreds of thousands of $$$) nor are they giving you back the money you paid for them.  Where has all this money gone to??? This is horrendous considering this was all planned in advance.  These liquidations make huge money liquidating these stores, I know I used to be a Liquidator and was involved in closing my share of stores.   I don't understand why the Supreme Court of Canada is not protecting our best interests as Consumers.  This is not their first rodeo (Supreme Court) they have set up the terms for these liquidations many times. (Zellers, Target, Future Shop, Linens and Things and Tag stores, only to name a few)  I would like your help to take this back to the Supreme Court and have them fix this before these stores are completed and shut down.  SUPREME COURT OF CANADA why are you not protecting are rights against these foreign investors who come in and dismantle these companies for tax right offs and profits while putting Canadians out of work and taking advantage of our good nature.
