Problem
Cheryl has been in this industry for 16 years, and for those 16 years Cheryl has been a vision of strength, bravery and empowerment to so many women, men, and young people around the world.

Over the past few years, Cheryl has took some well deserved time away from the spotlight to bring up her son Bear. Since coming back into the public eye last month, Cheryl has had unimaginable amounts of negative stories wrote about her, some of which are wrote absolutely appallingly.

Dan Wootton at The Sun continues to write awful and untrue stories about Cheryl. This is due to the fact he can never get an exclusive so has to come up with untrue stories to use as click bait. He also has to constantly bring her friends and her family into these stories.

Reading anything bad about you, your family or your career will be hard but after been in the public eye for so long its easy to put on a brave face.
Cheryl has continued to show strength regardless of how this is affecting her mental health, but the media need to realise that constant negativity also has a really direct Impact on her fans.

Most recently there has been an article written about Cheryl parting ways with cosmetic brand L'Oréal. The headline on this article was 'You're not worth it, Cheryl' - not only is this an absolutely horrendous headline but it is blatantly nasty.

Dan Wootton has continued to write awful stories about her and this needs to stop.

Solution
I would personally like The Sun Editor Tony Gallagher to review the stories Dan Wootton has written about Cheryl and think about how these may be affecting the mental health of both Cheryl and her fans.
