Not only myself but many other people I know have gotten parking tickets on campus that are incredibly expensive for no reason. With the pandemic and online school you’d think that Western would be slightly more lenient when it comes to giving out parking tickets.

I think it is unjust for the university, which we already pay to go to, to charge students for parking in places that are ON campus when they only give us limited parking anyways. I believe this is extremely unfair to the students and the parking committee continues to decline the statements of students trying to lower the fines of their tickets.

Paying over $70 as a punishment for parking somewhere on campus to get tested for covid that only took 10 minutes is ridiculous. Please sign in hopes to lower the price of parking tickets given on campus.
