We’ve all been told that as students our voice matters we vote for our SGA Officers but we don't vote for our royal court, the face of the students at Langston University.

This petition is to change that, Our Royal Court shouldn't be chosen by the ghosts of Langston's past based off of one day of greatness, but by Langston's future based off of a matriculation of service. This petition represents a change in tradition and culture, a change towards advocacy and a greater voice for the student body.

By signing this petition you'll ensure that the faces of Langston will be chosen by the students of Langston. Contestants will be given the chance to campaign well before the election starts very similar to the SGA elections which will include 

A meet your, candidates, event. where the student body is able to meet the students running for positions in the royal court

A Debate, Where the candidates can discuss questions and problems that your regular student faces and what can be done to fix them.

A Presentation plan, in which the candidates explain their platform and what they plan to do throughout their tenure by semester.

and finally is the voting which will be overseen by the office of student life
