Vanet Norona started this petition to The students of Challenger Middle School.

I believe that students in Challenger Middle School should be allowed to wear sweatpants, joggers, or baggy clothing. Most students would prefer going to school comfortable, rather than having to wear more formal clothing. The leggings should also not be prohibited. I understand some students may get distracted by it, but as long as you are covering most private parts with a bigger or longer t-shirt / jacket / hoodie etc. The jewelry we where also should not distract other students. It is our preference to wear jewelry with an outfit we might really like and just touch it up with some jewelry. Our hair preference should not also distract other students in the school, I comprehend if someone dyes there hair many colors to the point where everyone is talking about it and gets distracted from their education. But however, there is a difference between having very distracting hair rather than just dying it to a color we like. I haven’t talked to or met a student who agrees that hair dyes are a distraction. Our parents and or guardians pay for us to have our hair dyed and we are still children who want to explore and try new things and see what we like best but that does not mean that our learning and education does not come first.
