Now that I am an LCCC student, I see that there is very little education on campus  about Deaf culture and ASL.  People who live in Lorain, (family, friends and students) are looking for a class to show them the way ! People who work here on campus are inquiring about learning ASL, so they can communicate with the Deaf students.  There is a lack of communication incentive because no one knows how to talk to me. Students can take French, Chinese, Spanish, but where is the ASL class? 

I would like to empower the administration to find it important to start ASL classes here at LCCC. Many family members are wanting to talk with me. Writing back and forth is challenging for me as English is not my first language. 

So lets get this going!!!! I want to educate and speak to the administration about starting the process for an ASL class.
