Out of 50 states only 16 have sanctioned girls wrestling messed up right? A girl can put just as much time and effort into this sport as a boy yet we are still denied the right to compete. A girl can pin someone just as well as a boy. The excuse "girls won't be interested" cannot be used take McPherson high school in McPherson Kansas as an example, they have at more then 10 girls in their program. This is after only a few years of having the program and it will continue to grow. The state of Nebraska is not one of the 16 states that have sanctioned girls wrestling and i want to change that.
