This is a cry out for equal education for all children. If this mother felt as though her son would receive the same quality of education in her neighborhood school, she would not have enrolled him in another district. This shows harsh discrimination. This is racial injustice in the high form. Denying a child an education because of where he lived? They were homeless. We must help this mother who was only trying to ensure a decent life for her son. We all know that African American males are given an unequal playing field at the start of the game. This is a outrage. We must save her. She was doing what any mother would do, who is trying to save her child. In saving her, we are saying no, our children will not be left behind.
