Greetings

This petition is for the spouses that have been waiting for an interview date from the Singapore Visa office of Canada. There are spouses that have been waiting for almost 2 years for an interview date. It is unfair to get treated this way. Meanwhile there are applications who are getting approved within 6 months. It is almost as if they have completely forgotten about the applications that are on hold just for interview. The Honourable Minister of Immigration Marco Mendicino had made an announcement earlier in September  promising spouses that their applications will be sped up. The Honourable Minister also mentioned that the visa offices shall be taking virtual interviews now. But many have seen no change since this announcement. The wait is getting out of control. All of these spouses are falling into deep depression which is a major mental health issue. All we are asking for is to PLEASE START VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS FOR SPOUSAL APPLICATIONS. Please help us!
