Approve Chris Hansen's SoDo Arena Proposal Plan

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

For those of us who are still hoping to bring an NBA team back to Seattle, our chances of building the new arena in the SoDo District are holding us back by the Seattle City Council's previous disapproval. What's even worse is that the city's government approved the KeyArena for the NHL expansion, but acquiring an NBA team would take in the next five to seven years. We cannot wait for this long nor bring the basketball team into the Seattle Center because it would eventually lead us to gridlock the traffic as a nightmare with the possible average of 257 events, per year. Unlike, the Oak View Group's Key Arena renovation, Chris Hansen's proposed plan will take two years from building the SoDo arena to acquiring an NBA team.

Our goal for this effort is to get the Seattle City Council to approve Chris Hansen's new sports venue in the SoDo district officially. Please sign the petition for all of our basketball fans in Seattle, and also make tenant homes of the Storm (WNBA) and SU Redhawks (NCAA), so that we wouldn't have to come back to KeyArena every again for that sport.

Friendly Update: Seattle's KeyArena renovation hasn't met the NBA standards, which means that Oak View Group may have misled us into not having the basketball team in the future, which is why we need the SoDo Arena approved ASAP.
