Scotland’s Rural Economy Minister has criticised the company Camping in the Forest (CitF) for deciding not to reopen its three campsites in Scotland, stating the decision was “totally unacceptable” and harmed tourism. (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-53280435

This response from the Minister, Fergus Ewing is unequivocally inappropriate. There are conflicting views on reopening tourism in Scotland. Many operators have competing demands and are pulled in two directions, having to weight up decisions of business interests against the the safety and well-being of staff, customers and local communities.

It is unacceptable for a Scottish Minister to try to dictate to or pressure any tourism operator into doing something they feel is not the right thing for their particular circumstances.
