This is because it provides a more quiet and safe learning environment because students cant really focus as much as when they aren't listening to music. All of the students attention is focused elsewhere nut when they are listening to music they are better focused on the task at hand. Also, it gives teacher enough time of quietness to prepare for there next class or grade assignments. All in all music has many benefits in the classroom setting.
