To the north Syracuse Cicero high school  we all get there trying to solve a big problem with being late, but to punish kids who come in late with good reason or just because they are a minute late is beyond to far. Yes some kids have a cycle of coming in late but they have records for that and they can be taken care of but for most kids they come to school everyday and yes there are incidents such as having a doctor apt or missing the bus and many reasons more. With this new rule kids are going to become outraged with stepping into school worried there gonna ruin there reputation just by a simple lunch detention just because they were late for a good reason and or just simply because they slept in late. What about the teachers we have teachers coming in late all the time where there students are outside there door waiting as they are wasting time because of what? They were late? They got stuck in traffic? Just because they have more power doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have consequences as well. We are all humans stuff happens, but the secretary did not consider how the students the people who make the school, they didn’t consider how we feel .So with this we have a choice to be Heard loud and clear and respectfully by the staff in our district
