Dress codes are quite disgusting. They are making young children at young age insecure and also make them hide their perfect bodies. I think we need to stop caring so much about what kids wear to school and focus more on mental health issues in our schools. Children are constantly bullied and being body shamed in the first place. Having grown adults staring at young children just for wearing leggings and OH NO holes in their jeans is horrible. SO WHAT IF THERE IS A HOLE IN SOMEONES JEANS… what about their home life, what about their mental health. We need to make change and stop schools from worrying about something that should have stayed in the old generation. There has been a lot of protests recently and I truly believe it is for a good reason. There should not be this much disgusting behavior especially at school where children and young adults are just trying to learn and not be shamed for just wearing clothes…
