It's ridiculous and embarrassing to see Canadian politicians promoting their religion and failing to represent ALL Canadians. Keep your religion to yourself, Mr Wall.

Trump is president-elect in the US, and the world is horrified. Let's not add Saskatchewan to the fire, yes?

It is not the role of government to either promote or suppress religion.

If Brad Wall has stated that there has not been one complaint then that is not true. I did contact his office via e-mail immediately after the Supreme Court ruling requesting that Saskatchewan also stop saying prayers in the Legislature. His response letter to me dated April 29, 2015 states that he had "no direct authority to remove the prayer. This is a decision that must be taken by the Members. No Members have expressed an interest in removing the Prayer from the Assembly's daily proceedings."

I am not connected to any religious organization. I am a concerned citizen who wants everyone who lives here to be included. In Japan, Shinto and Buddhism are two major religions that co-existing relatively harmoniously and have even complemented. If our government is promoting exclusive rituals, we will fail as a community. Prayers should be with yourself or in your house of worship. Our government should take care of the business we elected them to and quite the holy wars where none should be.
