campus security and wrestling coach, Jason Gregory (or as he's better known by students and athletes at salinas high school, Big Red) was unjustly scapegoated by the Salinas Union High School District. 

Due to the infamous incident with the "Shaniqua doll" the Salinas Union High School District and the higher-ups of Salinas High were criticized by multiple individuals who wanted to see racial reforms at the high school. Instead of seeking reformation, they decided to shift the blame onto the beloved campus security Big Red. The apparent reason was that he was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time.

we salinas high students would like a public apology to him and would like his position at salinas high given back to him. We love this man who makes the campus feel safe and always greets every student with a smile.
