Investigate Concerns About Misconduct on the parts of Ms Alison Alexander in all of her dealings with and involvement in Bisham Primary School, Bisham, Berkshire

Bisham Primary School has had a long and successful history.

Until Friday 21st November 2014 when Alison Alexander - Director of Children's Services for Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and members of her team arrived at the school at 3.15pm when all of the children were coming out of class to go home.

She also brought a locksmith with her.

Over the next couple hours she removed the Head Teacher Mr Jim Cooke, who has served the shool very successfully for 29 years with kindness, care, passion and committment. She then proceeded to intimidate and humiliate his dedicated and committed team of teachers, many who have been teaching at the school for over 10 years.  They were then seen being upset and crying by the children and parents who were still in the school building which then caused even wider upset - children and parents went home in tears.

Then as a final act the locksmith began to change all the locks in full view of staff as they left.  The added emotional kick is that Mr Jim Cooke and his wife live on the school site - their school house is closely adjoining the school - Mr &Mrs Cooke and his family also had to witness the locksmith changing all the locks - and putting a bolt on the door that joins the school to their house.

This is the most aggressive and provocative act imaginable to be committed towards a primary school by a Head of Children's Services who is supposed to act only in the interests of the well being of children in the borough.  Instead she showed a complete lack of sensitivity or thought of what the effect on these unwarranged and unprecedented actions would have on our children.

This is one of many such acts that Alison Alexander has carried out in her dealings with Bisham Primary School, to name a few:

1. Leaking to national and local press the School's recent Ofsted by sending an email to journalists at midnight before the school had even seen the report so that parents read about their school going into special measures in the local press.

2. Allowing her employee Phil Brown to cancel a Bisham School trip to France less than 24 hours before children were due to go on flimsy grounds - so flimsy that the Borough had to pay for a replacement trip costing many thousands of pounds to the tax payers of Windsor & Maidenhead and then refusing to release the full report to affected parents despite public promises to do so.

3.Promising parents at recent meeting at the school that she would be working with Mr Jim Cooke and his Chair of Governors and allowing parents full invovlement in any decisions made about a new board of governors and the future steps for the school - this did not happen when she came in to the school a few days later and changed the locks.

These are just snapshots of the type of conduct that Alison Alexander finds acceptable in her dealings with a little village primary school.

She must be called to account so that she has to publicly acknowledge her misconduct and apoligise for the harm and upset she has caused - and she should not be able to have authority to act in such ways again - particularly when young children are invovled.
