Allow The Real Flower Company to display flowers outside of their London flower shop

We’ve been told that we can no longer thoughtfully display the sustainable seasonal English flowers that we grow outside our flower shop in Cale Street, Chelsea.
We opened our flower shop in Chelsea to offer London a green alternative to the unsustainable and often genetically modified Dutch flowers sold by most UK florists (currently only 10% of the cut flowers sold in the UK are grown here).
Sadly, The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea received a single complaint about the flower display in front of our shop and have instructed us that all flowers must be kept inside or we risk being fined and/or prosecuted.
The land outside of our shop is owned by the freeholder of the building (not the Royal Borough) - both the freeholder and our landlord are happy for us to display our flowers on the small space directly outside of our window. We always leave plenty of space for passersby including wheelchair users and double buggies – as shown in this image.
Nearly all of our trade is due to our floral display of scented seasonal flowers and aromatic foliage (which often stops passers by in their tracks) . We’ve seen a drastic drop in business since the council’s warning and would be devastated to have to close our doors due to this decision. We love being part of the friendly and vibrant community of Chelsea Green. We’ve had so much support from both the local residents and our customer base who travel far and wide to Chelsea Green to visit our little shop and discover the wide array of scented garden roses, sweet peas, wild flowers, herbs and foliage that we grow.
So, if you have a couple of minutes, we would be very grateful if you could help save our shop by signing the petition below.
We, the undersigned, urge the Council to withdraw their threat to prosecute and fine The Real Flower Company, and in the interest of supporting local small businesses on Cale St and around Chelsea Green, allow The Real Flower Company to display their flowers outside the shop at 13 Cale Street, London.
