The Right To Vote On Proposal That Impacts The Environment!

The Issue

Daggett County Commissioners are seeking a land swap between the U.S. Forest Service and the school trust lands agency that could allow private development to take place within the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Daggett County Commissioners are not allowing residents to vote on this proposal because it is controversial and many residents oppose any new development in the National Forest surrounding the reservoir. Please see newslink http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=20435392. If you feel that America is still a democracy and citizens have the right to vote on important issues that concern them, such as protecting the environment and all of it's resources, please sign this petition.
