Our plan is to prevent radical destruction of our neighborhood from a relocation of utility poles to the front and instead enhance, improve and revitalize our neighborhood by implementing a plan to designate our neighborhood as a historic locale. The result would include, but not be limited to installing underground utilities, creating a full length sidewalk, installing historic gas lighting and other improvements that would increase the aesthetic appeal and property value of all properties--at NO COST to residents.

The plan is possible because of two historic cemeteries that exist along Lydale. Improvements to make Lydale safer and to preserve the historic beauty will be achieved through private funding and grants. 

In the interim, we must not allow Eversource to relocate utilities, and urge them to continue to provide service via the existing infrastructure.
