The removal of the Confederate monuments at the Marshall County Courthouse in Albertville

0 have signed. Let’s get to 5,000!

Because of the negative racial connotations surrounding the Confederate battle flag and memorial, we are petitioning to see them removed from the courthouse premises. We would also request to see the Alabama State flag flying along side the American flag. These symbols are inclusive to all of our diverse citizens.
We have no desire to attack inanimate or historical objects, we simply feel the county courthouse is not the appropriate place for them to be displayed. Our town is full of culture and rich in history, and we would love to see these confederate tributes preserved in the city museum for observance and remembrance.
