Your majesty,

Your Parliament is trying to overturn a referendum by your citizens that attracted the largest single vote on any issue. That issue is the all important one of Britain's future relationship with the European Union.

In 2016, 17.4 million Britons voted to leave the European Union. At the subsequent general election, the main parties agreed and committed to honouring the result of this referendum. Article 50 was invoked by Parliament to facilitate this exit.

The March 2019 deadline was missed because of the machinations of the various political parties that wanted to block Britain's exit. These factions are committed to ensuring that the referendum result of 2016 is never delivered.

Now these same factions are trying to ensure that we don't leave on October 31st 2019 either and have blocked the effort of your Government to call a general election to help settle the issue of what people really want.

Your majesty has the power to dissolve Parliament. We beseech you to exercise this power on behalf of the majority of your citizens who voted to leave the EU but whose democratic rights are being trampled all over by this Parliament. Let their be a general election to decide this issue once and for all.

The delay is causing huge disruption to your country and bringing your country into disrepute internationally.
