Collier County has approved tennis, pickleball, and swimming pools to be re-open. Many of the area country clubs and public facilities have either already opened or will be opening their tennis, pickleball, and bocce ball courts and swimming pools by Monday, May 4th. The Quarry Beach Club and HOA are concerned about legal repercussions, in addition to concerns regarding social distancing related to Covid-19. The HOA members of the Quarry recognize the concerns but are willing to accept the personal risks and liability and ask that the facilities be reopened immediately. The members also ask that doubles be allowed on tennis and pickleball allowing the members to use their best judgment to abide by social distancing and the safety of all participants. Currently, there are no know cases of Covid-19 in The Quarry. In light of rules set for the county, we believe these are reasonable requests by the members of The Quarry HOA.
