It has come to the attention of the SVACS Netball Club members that the club will no longer have the support of Swan Valley Anglican Community School (SVACS). The school does not want to allow the SVACS Netball Club to continue to use its name to become an incorporated club as required for registration by Netball WA. Thus, the club will have to close after almost 15 years of existence. The club has been a great benefit to Swan Valley Anglican Community School and its pupils and has delivered several champion sides and representative players. Sport is extremely important in the physical wellbeing as well as mental development of our kids and it is essential that we as parents request to open dialogue as soon as possible with the school to save the SVACS Netball Club. This petition is to gain support for us as parents to open negotiations with the school to save SVACS Netball.
