Alan Woodall started this petition to The Prime Minister

On Friday 29th December 2019, at London Bridge,  a Polish citizen called Lukasz, with little thought to his own safety, attempted to disarm a terrorist who was wearing a (now known to be fake) suicide vest and who had fatally stabbed two individuals. He suffered five stab wounds in the process, and even when wounded pursued the terrorist outside and helped to immobilise him until the police arrived to neutralise the threat. During  much of that time, he fought alone, and knew that at any instant the terrorist could have detonated the visible suicide vest.

The Polish Government have announced he will receive an honour. We call on the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, to recommend this brave man for the highest UK award for civilian gallantry available to a foreign national.
