Attorney General must resign over Parliamentary Sovereignty
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
The Attorney General, Jeremy Wright, led the Government team in fighting the Supreme Court Case over whether a Parliamentary vote and legislation was needed for Brexit. The Attorney General is supposed to uphold the Government's legality in all its operations. The sovereignty of Parliament is basic to the Constitution, our democracy and our laws. As it took a law to enter the European Community, so it requires a law to leave. Because the Attorney General failed to give the basic, proper advice to the Government, he should be asked by the Prime Minister to resign forthwith.
