The War on Drugs has failed. It is costing our government millions to house drug offenders as well as  money to arrest and convict people on drug charges. Federal law enforcement are still going after those who are complient with state laws for medical cannabis. Tax it and regulate it! Please give Federal Pardons to those who have been convicted for growing and selling cannabis while following state law. Legalize the use of cannabis. History tells us that prohibition doesn't work, It just puts it underground and gives the criminal element a way to increase their profit. Legalizing will cut the criminals profit, reducing crime and gun use! A win win for all but the criminal! Let this be a first step on the new, logical War on the Drug Dealers! Pass and sign HR 2306!
