Mandate that 51% of all products sold in the U.S. are made in the U.S.

Globalization has destroyed most manufacturing industries in America. Only the major manufacturers that sell in the American market can undo the damage they have done. And they must be forced to undo this damage, they will not do it on their own.
It is very lucrative to manufacture goods in China at Chinese prices and sell the goods in America at American prices.
These major manufacturers have not shown any remorse after closing factories in the U.S. and shipping jobs to foreign countries. Yet, they shamelessly promote their products as American products just because they are made by American multinationals. This is not right. At the rate we are going twenty years from now our young people will be able to look forward only to McDonalds, Wal-Mart, Target and restaurant jobs.
Mr. Obama's audacious hope that the U.S. will dominate the super high-tech manufacturing of the present and the future is a mirage. If America does not do low-tech manufacturing (clothes, shoes, TVs, radios, computers, tires, etc.) it will be the end of our continuing industrial revolution.
All industrial revolutions are manufacturing revolutions. Without a solid manufacturing base, there is no industrial revolution.
We should not care who own the factories in America. They could all be owned by the Chinese, the Indians, the Brazilians, etc. But, as long as the factories are in the U.S. they will be employing Americans and our young people will again have a solid future to look forward to.
All Americans below the age of 50 must support this petition. It is their only hope, unless they want to live and work in America where everybody is selling real estate, insurance, vitamins and diet pills to each other.
