Zachary Keath started this petition to The President of the United States

Zachary Keath, age 22, is a Marine veteran seeking a Presidential Pardon for a Military Conviction in 2017.

When Zachary was 18 years old he had a girlfriend who was 16 years old. Zachary enlisted in the Marines and like most people in the Armed forces, was stationed a significant distance from his significant other.

Like most long distance relationships, Zachary and his girlfriend used Skype, text, phone calls, and social media to stay connected.

Almost 6 months after enlisting while at Military training, Zachary was approached by NCIS. One of the apps he and his girlfriend had been using had reported their conversation to police, who had forwarded the case to NCIS.

Zachary cooperated fully with the investigation, not understanding the issue. Months later, charges were filed as per a Commanding General's Command. Zachary was assigned a JAG lawyer who misdirected him and convinced him to take a plea deal with no Benefits, just take responsibility for his "actions".

At sentencing, Zachary's, Girlfriends, Mother, wrote a letter to the Judge which was read aloud, she said, "My daughter was more scared when NCIS contacted her than at any point when she was dating Zachary." and she pleaded with the Judge saying, "Please don't ruin this young man's life before its even started."

The Judge gave the maximum sentence available under a Special Court Martial, An Other than Honorable Discharge, And a Lifetime Sex Offender Registration Requirement.

Zachary was convicted of Soliciting a Minor (his own Girlfriend), Possession of Child Pornography, and Indecent Language Towards a Minor (again, his Girlfriend).

Zachary is now 22 Years old, his former girlfriend is now 20 years old. Her name has been omitted for her Privacy, if you agree Zachary Keath deserves a Presidential Pardon, and the right to a normal life, Please sign this petition and help him achieve his goal of 1 Million signature's.
