I believe the bailout of the banks may have been needed, however we american citizens who were promised, if we obtained an education and went on to college we could be rewarded. I am not saying that it is not rewarding... but now we are left with a school loan which is a great burdon to us. I believe we are just as important as the banks and automobile companies. Imagine how much more monies could be poured into the economy if we, instead of paying these large monthy installment payments, were spending it in retail stores or in buying a new car. I do not see a new car in my future. I am not suggesting the government pay loans accross the board. I am suggesting there be a committe to work on a plan for the people who are struggling with these payments, even after consolidation. Please assist the people. If this is done and would be an immediate relief, We don't have to wait until it trickles down and we could start pouring money into this economy.
