Colerne needs a Post Office Back!

As you may be aware Emma Hucklebridge, the proprietor of Colerne News, has applied to provide a Post Office Local Counter service at her shop on the High Street in Colerne. Since the closure of the old Post Office across the road, this is a service that is very much needed by Colerne’s residents, especially those who need to draw their pensions, draw cash and those who wish to post packages and letters.
The application is ‘in depth’ and involves looking into every aspect of Colerne News as well as its proprietor’s personal situation.
I am sure that many will agree that keeping a post Office within Colerne is very important and that Colerne News would be an ideal place for it to be situated.
Part of the application process is a consultation with the local community and Emma would like to urge as many of the residents and visitors to Colerne to sign and give reasons for support of her application. So please do sign and lend your support either on-line here or in person at Colerne News.
Colerne needs a Post Office back! And your signature will help make this happen!
