The Port Of San Diego, Ca, and the San Diego Harbor Police: Stop violating artists 1st and 14th amendment rights
This petition made change with 51 supporters!
The port has created a code which is selective to what artists are allowed to vend in the port. This is a direct violation of the 1st and 14th amendments to the constitution of the United States. Allowing this kind of violation to continue is a a detriment to civil rights, and allows room for more governmental control. To change the port code to allow all artists from the ones the port deems protected to true handcraft artists would ensure the port meets the criteria of civil rights established by the peoples of this country. It would also ensure that people who have worked the harbor for years can continue to make a living doing what they do best. The San Diego Rose Man, William J Dorsett is one such artist who has had his rights violated by the Port Of San Diego and its Harbor Police. Please help correct this today and sign the petition. Thanks and many blessings. William J Dorsett, aka the San Diego Rose Man
