Us students deserve a longer christmas break. As students and staff, we already have enough stress going on due to school because of commotion and problems in school. Teachers complain to students how it’s stressful and one week won’t be long enough. There are staff quitting their job because of stress and issues. The school has money and don’t use any of it to pay for students that need anything and lunches are awful. They only care about sports. So while we have an extended break, they can take the time to acknowledge and resolve the issues of inside school, transportation issues, staff issues, lunches, money in general and a better resolution of security in school. We deserve better and it’s time to make a change. Administration shows a lack of respect by all this injustice. We care about teacher/staff mental health and as students we can see them being emotionally impacted by this. By signing this petition it shows that students and staff care about our learning environment and we need justice.
