On Wednesday March 19th we (the instructors at Oxley Equestrian Center), were informed by the Cornell Athletics Department that they will no longer be offering PE Equitation  classes. These classes have been offered to Cornell students for decades and have provided the unique opportunity to learn about and interact with horses. 

Not only have these classes been a fun way for "any person to find instruction in any study", Oxley has been a safe haven for many Cornell students and Ithaca residents alike. By cancelling the Equitation class, many beloved horses will be without a home and many students will be without a place to relieve their stress and anxiety.
