Whoopie Goldberg appropriated the Jewish last name in order to show she was an outsider and gain more notice. By using the name Goldberg she wanted to flaunt that she was a minority in a majority white population. With her recent comments on the trash talk show "The View" claiming the Holocaust had nothing to do with race, it's time for her to be fired and forced to change her name back to Caryn Johnson. Her dancing around an apology in the last few days should seal the deal with everyone concerned. Lets show her the power of the people and insist on this change. Others have been forced to change their name for much less.
