A lot of kids from belle chasse have been testing positive for covid-19. Now the kids have to wear mask again, And will be eating lunch in the classrooms to lessen the spread. Which doesn’t make sense because they have to switch classes. All 900-1,000 kids, at one time.! theses kids don’t want to go virtual they want to see there friends and enjoy school, but they can’t! With that being said me and a few other parents came together and came up with this to encourage the school to go virtual. Belle chasse middle has been shut down before Christmas break due to 9 teachers having covid at once. We are now back to eating lunch in class rooms only, mask at all times, social distancing is not even possible at a school with 1,000 kids. People left and right are getting quarantined. There is no way we can stop or prevent covid everyone is still all in the same building. This is basically saying we want things to go back to normal or go virtual if this is how it will continue to be. We are hoping to get all to sign to bring awareness/ attention to the school board!
