Show your support for a new, independent business; Pump & Grind, and the opening of a venue in Ipswich for everyone!
Pump & Grind need YOUR words of encouragement, YOUR signature and YOUR support.
LONG has Ipswich Town desired a welcoming, accessible and hospitable music venue with great food and coffee right in the heart of the Town centre!
Experienced, local and creative people have pooled their resources, passion and skills to create Pump & Grind, BUT it won’t work without the support and evidence that the people of Ipswich want it to open!
Tom Kerridge, previous owner of Paper Bag Factory has been placed in an uncompromising situation, whereby they may be refused their drinks licence due to a ‘blockage’ in the system. Despite encouragement and support from the council and our wonderful councillors, other authorities seem to think the venue will be used irresponsibly and is unfit for purpose - HELP US OVERTURN THEIR DECISION!
Tom has currently been refused a licence to sell alcohol as it does not seem to be understood what a fantastic, independent and popular venue Pump & Grind will be, especially considering the existing loyal and diverse music fan base living in the Town. We need to unite to show our excitement and support at the opening of this new, independent business ,and to show what a diverse, loyal and faithful audience the people of Ipswich are.
