Skating has positively impacted the community of Flower Mound in many ways, shapes, and forms. Literally, skaters maintain the Lewisville Park, never mind the graffiti, and uplift each other to push boundaries that many dare to push. It is an outlet for many people to channel any negative energy they may have and allows us to become more comfortable with ourselves.

I am proposing a skatepark in Flower Mound because many have to drive 10-15 minutes to get to the nearest skatepark, and that skatepark certainly has served us well, but we the people want the ability to be able to stay in our cities when skating. This has many positive externalities such as saving gas, reducing carbon emissions, and also provides a safe space for skaters to lounge and do as they please. In order for this to work, we need the people of Flower Mound to sign this petition, so we can have a closer spot for us to exercise in our craft. If we receive 500 signatures, I will gladly write a proposal to present to the town of Flower Mound. Thank you <3
