As it stands currently a group of ducks can be called a variety of things. Ranging from such titles as: “a paddling”, “a raft”, or “a team” of ducks, I would propose that these titles do not do the full justice that a group of ducks requires. Ducks are not simply defined by an action like that if “paddling” nor by a human construct such as a “raft”. These titles are demeaning and do not give prestige and power to such a noble creature like that of a duck. Rather, I would propose that a grouping of ducks be given a more dignified title equating to something which they bring into the world. 
To this end, I would simply petition that a grouping of ducks be known as a “Quack”. 
While on the surface this seems like the attempt at a cruel joke or diminishing of a noble species, it is simply not the case. Such prestigious creatures like the duck are known for many things, ranging from form, to historical representation, to pond protectors. However, one trait stands above all the rest. That being, the sound which such a graceful creature makes, the distinguished “quack”. All ages, all nationalities, all species understand such a sound and what it invokes into the world. 
Therefore, with such a powerful and evocative sound and word, should we not title these kings of the water-faring world with this title.

Ladies and Gentlemen, my simple plea is that we only give the Duck and the grouping of Ducks the rightful title it deserves. That being, a “Quack”.
