The Pennsylvania State University: Cut Penn State's contract with Adidas and stand up for workers' rights

This petition made change with 78 supporters!

This is a vital time for Penn State to be a leader in respecting human rights and workers' rights. For almost two years, notorious workers' rights abuser Adidas has refused to pay $1.8 million in legally mandated severance pay to workers of the PT Kizone factory in Indonesia. These workers are struggling to survive each day and their children long to be able to return to school. Already seven schools have cut their contracts with Adidas due to its blatant disregard for workers' rights as well as its violation of the schools' codes of conduct for the companies they do business with. It is time for Penn State to cut its contract. The students and the outer Penn State community demand this. For something so wrong, this has gone on for way too long! Please help us in our fight for justice in solidarity with the PT Kizone workers by signing this petition. Penn State President, Rodney Erickson, has a deadline of this Wednesday, 3/13/13 to cut the contract!

Thank you!
