Too many sexual abusers are being let free or not given fair punishment. It's not right or ok what they do, and too many people are falling victim to sexual assault every day; both men, women and everyone in between. We need a better world, and we can start here.

The people who have sexually assaulted someone should get life in prison. The justice system fails us, over and over again. There have been too many cases of sexual abusers getting away with zero or little prison time. There was a high school girl in the USA, who was raped, and told the police almost immediately, but of course her abuser was let go with no prison time. There was man in Texas who sexually assaulted a patient and received only 6 months in prison. There are many other cases; these are just some of the ones I've heard.

No matter the victim or the abusers age, sex or race, the abuser deserves life in prison. If the punishment was more severe it might help deter people from engaging in the criminal act which changes the victims life, forever.  I hope that you will sign this petition to help change the world for the better, and if you were a victim to sexual assault always remember; you are more than your body.
