I don't think businesses should be closed down by ideological bullies.

In their ironic fight against this chain, they will be leaving people without a job because of their discrimination. Chick Fil A, please stay!

I am fed up with people who pretend to believe in free speech and equality discriminating against those who hold a different view.

I support Chick Fil A in Reading. It will boost the economy in Reading. They are an outstanding company and will make a positive impact on the economy. And they are not against people with different views than their own views.

You don’t see gays owning shops supporting local businesses only to be shut down for there views so why would they be allowed to do it to others. I wonder weather there would ever be any business if we just judged on the owners views.

Locals need business not a bullying minority dictating to the majority to the detriment of Reading. Enough of this PC madness!

I’m not usually one to be too fussed on petitions however seeing this today just doesn’t make sense and is really unjust. After years of success in the US Chick-fil-a a Christian ran business and now one of the most popular fast food businesses in the US has reached out to thousands placing one of there stores in Reading, providing local jobs to loving people, being a Christian none religious Set on works or rank but relationship with God and people business, has allowed them to support a huge diversity of people loving many other religious people including muslims with a great alternative to beef burgers, the customer service was fantastic on my first visit today and the honest truth was that it was so popular the customer line continued outside the store! Im looking forward to eating here again however unfortunately a minority few have misunderstood the heart of this loving terrific new venture for the UK with a small group of insecure prideful protesters, this dose not stop my love for them even though in truth what they are doing is in-sighting hatred toward a company that holds diversity and love at its core, this is ludicrously unjust at its finest level and should not stand. what the LGBT is standing against is exactly what they themselves are living in.
I pray In utter love for both parties concerned that they may come to know Jesus’s love not through religion but through relationship according to the Bible, Jesus came to love on all the world and bring peace and unity and eternal life, offering out freedom from all fear, guilt, pain, condemnation and depression much of what the world is searching for today, I see this as being a misunderstanding of Gods heart for all people, if people truly knew his nature then they may be able to be set free from all insecurity gripping this world, for if we allow his promises to take root we are truly secure and all that hate and frustration will finally come to an end, we can’t wound someone if we aren’t wounded ourselves.

I believe Chick Fil A is a valuable business for Reading, and as someone who lives nearby would attract me to the Reading town centre as I often avoid Reading town centre and go to alternatives such as Basingstoke. Chick Fil A would mean I do more shopping in Reading. If it’s forced to close because of some fringe LGBTQ group I’ll take my business away to places like Basingstoke.
