I am making this petition as I have seen many examples of emergency workers enrolled in Open University courses facing the task of revising for their exams as well as combatting the spread of Coronavirus.

The continuation of assessments is also stressful for many students in self-isolation, where I would argue that the conditions are not suitable for adequate revision, further compounded by the cancellation of school, forcing students with children to refocus their attention away from their studies.

This unnecessary stress is unfair, especially as many fellow universities have taken action to suspend assessment. Therefore, I am asking the Open University to examine the current situation and make a fair decision for their students.
