The Ontario Government has loosened climate actions that were previously in place. With rapidly rising temperatures, climate change has begun to affect all aspects of Ontario such as the environment, agriculture and weather. These effects will only become worse if extremely strict action is not taken to fight against this issue. The Ministry of Environment has stated that the current government has made "next to no progress" in laying out their plan that was unveiled in 2018.

This petition asks that the Ontario Government acts on educating the people, and also enforcing more strict climate rules and goals.

Creates an Advertising Campaign - There are many people who still don't know what climate change is and how it affects Ontario. The government hasn't brought a lot of attention on the subject to the people of Ontario either. This petition requests an advertising campaign is created so everybody in Ontario can find out what climate change is and therefore, make more educated decisions.

More Strict Climate Goals - The government has decided to make climate goals less strict based on this statement. This petition requests that the Ontario government makes Ontario's 2030 climate goals more strict. 

Make It More Encouraging for Citizens to Become Eco-Friendly - Also, the government should take more action to prevent encourage citizens to take become more environmentally friendly such as incentivizing the purchase of electric vehicles, funding businesses that are eco-friendly.
