Problem
There is a shortage of housing solutions for a huge number in Ireland today. There is also unrelenting apathy on the part of Government to improve this situation, and they appear unable to improve the situation.

Solution
Irish people can and do create solutions to problems that overwhelm governments. They act when institutions do nothing. They create change they want to see. If the population of Ireland indicate their demand for housing as a right, this mandate will spur all parties in both Houses to act in a decisive manner.

Personal story
I am a member of the public, galvanised by the changes I've seen Ireland create in both 2015 and 2018. I've learnt that when Ireland speaks, things change, and people should not be afraid to demand change Ireland needs. If we continue to speak loudly and clearly about change we need, we will be able to create a national conversation about housing in Ireland. We do not need to accept the unacceptable any more.
