This much loved service was very quietly altered during school holidays to end at the QVB. The elderly, uni students and hospital workers used this bus as a direct and convenient to get into the city, the uni and the hospital. Now commuters are forced to change buses to get to their destination and the elderly are forced to walk up to seven minutes through the city to change buses. In the middle of a pandemic, these changes are also increasing the risk to commuters, including the elderly, of catching Covid-19 due to the changing of the buses. This is simply not acceptable! We are asking NSW Transport and The NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian to restore our 430 bus to its original route, starting in Taronga zoo and ending in Sydenham, for the health, safety and convenience of all Sydney commuters.Please sign and share and let’s restore the 430 route we know, love and miss!
