To convene an earlier meeting of the full State Executive Committee

This petition had 38 supporters

State Democratic Party fundraising is at an all-time low because donors have lost all confidence and trust in the leadership of the NCDP chairman Randy Voller. On June 11, 2013, NCDP First Vice Chair Nina Szlosberg-Landis submitted her resignation letter citing her concerns and those of donors over Voller's opposition to accountability, financial checks and balances, and transparency.

Voller's numerous public missteps and contentious actions have made him a polarizing individual unable to effectively unify democrats, raise money or recruit electable candidates. The goal of this petition is to compel Chair Voller to immediate call for a meeting of the state executive committee's 700+ members to hold a confidence vote in lieu of waiting three months until the August SEC meeting.

Under the NCDP bylaws stated in the Plan of Organization, Section 4.07, the state party chair is compelled to call an SEC meeting within 30 days upon written receipt of a petition signed by 40 percent of the State Executive Committee members. This petition seeks your support to change the meeting date to as soon as possible.

We cannot afford to ignore our fundraising mission for the next three months. We are counting on you to help the NCDP move forward to actively and effectively unify our party. The sooner, the better.

(You do not have to fear public exposure or harassment for signing this petition. This petition is only collecting supporters' signatures to print and submit to the NCDP chair to request an earlier SEC meeting date.  If you wish, you can hide your signature from public view in just one step. Simply "uncheck" the box below the signature area on the right side of the page and your signature will be hidden from public review.)
