The problem is the noise, hum  and radiation coming from the pge substation. This hum is caused by the transformers and wires that move the electricity and  the fans that cool the pcb's that they use to cool the transformers. The (emf) electromagnetic field and radiation that comes from the substation are not deemed safe. More needs to be done to either block us from these levels, redirect them or change out the old equipment that is not safe, for newer modern safer transformers and eliminate the hazard to the public and people living in the area. Until the levels coming off this substation are lowered or are redirected we are all in harms way. Even the trees they had blocking some of the noise and EMF and radiation were removed a couple years ago. That was the only protection or buffer we had against these harmful EMF 's and radiation.  Plese let's hold PGE accountable for their dissregard of the people that live near this substation.

Just the noise alone has become unbearable, I can't open my door and still hear the TV. People come over and ask how I can stand the noise. 

Pge can fix alot of this problem by putting internal walls inside the otherwise open parts of the wall that surrounds one side of the substation.. They just keep adding on and building the area up as more mower is needed for the area

Please let's make pge accountable for keeping their neighbors safe and research the health hazards from these substations and the EMF and radiation put off by these wires and other components of the substation.  I know this doesn't have to be like this. At times when they have shut this down for repairs the will bring in a small portable unit that does the same thing this huge substation does and it's completely quiet. 

I have lived across the street from this substation for over 50 years and i think the healt effects are catching up with me. I am raising a kid now and need to know how unhealthy and dangerous being so close to all this power really is. 

PGE has the power and means to fix the problem.
