Since covid restrictions being lifted most people have now returned to work and doing their best to lead as normal life as possible under the circumstances.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated at the impossibility of obtaining face to face appointments with doctors surgeries.

To have to call the doctors early in the morning just to try to get the opportunity of even receiving a telephone call is extremely stressful and not always possible depending on people's working hours etc.

I have had my own personal experiences recently but am more concerned about the many other stories people have to tell.

So many things surely could not be diagnosed over a telephone call, not only that many people are just not comfortable on the phone. Also, I wonder how many people have certain symptoms but find it hard to explain and during a face to face doctors appointment may find it easier, or indeed, the said doctor may notice things that the patient may not have realised or deemed not serious or unconnected to their condition.

How many undiagnosed serious health issues are being missed? How many people are just giving up and not bothering anymore?

It will have horrendous repercussions - let us see our doctors please, without having to jump through all the hoops and receive the service that our fabulous national health has been built on.
